Ed and his group decided to try their luck at marlin fishing today. The boats had not fished out of the inlet since Saturday. This left us guessing where to look for marlin. All the boats headed to the northeast in search of good water. Boats fishing in the Norfolk Canyon had had good success the past two days. Conditions were great other than a lot of scattered grass. Unfortunately the marlin did get that notice. They were very scattered. we did catch 2 out of three that we saw and caught scattered dolphin all day. It shouldn't take the billfish long to find this water. Prepare yourself for some great fishing news the next couple of days. I have dates available for September. and October. Give me a call.
